Clipissue

Privacy

Clipissue reads your Linear so it can show it to you faster. This page states plainly what it stores, what it sends, and what it never touches.

The app on your Mac

Your Linear API key is stored in the macOS Keychain under the service com.clipissue.mac. It is sent only to Linear's official GraphQL API — never to any server operated by us or by a third party.

Issue data (titles, descriptions, workflow states, sub-issues) is cached in a local snapshot on your disk so the panel opens instantly. Clearing it removes every trace; there is no server-side copy.

The app collects no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reports.

What Clipissue reads and writes in Linear

Reads: open issues in the projects you choose, including titles, descriptions, workflow states, and sub-issues.

Writes: only the workflow-state changes you make and the issues or sub-issues you create from the panel.

This website

The website uses self-hosted Umami for anonymous, cookieless page analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not cross-site track.

Clicks on any /download link are recorded as a file_download event (file type, link text, landing URL) so we know the download funnel works.
